Woman booked on outstanding shoplifting citation — Ashley Lewis arrested

23-year-old Ashley Lewis failed to self-book for a 2019 shoplifting citation, and a failure to appear warrant has been outstanding for her arrest ever since. On Wednesday she was taken into custody for the failure to appear. The original citation alleges she took several retail items at the Rivergate Mall Dillard’s store and placed them inside of store bags and attempted to walk out the door. She was intercepted by loss prevention and $675.29 worth of merchandise was recovered.

Antioch man charged with kidnapping of wife and assault of ex-lover — James Kennedy

28-year-old James Kennedy, AKA “Busta Buss Checkmate” is free on a $32,500 bond after police say he would not let his wife, Takarria Kennedy, leave their home and assaulted her when she attempted to leave the residence anyways. He grabbed her and tossed her against a wall. One of her female friends, Amaya Forrest, who is also a former lover of the husband, was visiting her at the time, and when she confronted James Kennedy about the assault of his wife and said she was going to call her brother, he pulled up his shirt exposing a handgun in his waistband, then grabbed her and attempted to push her down a set of stairs. As Forrest left the residence, the wife attempted to follow her and physically kept her from leaving for a substantial period of time.

Out of state fugitive posts $150K bond in Nashville, walks out of jail — David Kariotis

Metro Nashville Police located 47-year-old David Kariotis at his Infinity Music Row apartment and took him onto custody for outstanding out-of-state warrants in Chicago, who wishes to extradite him into their custody. Once he was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, he was given a $150,000 bond on the fugitive of justice warrant. He then had a source hearing for his funds, posted the $150,000K bond via Grumpy’s bail bonds, and walked out the door.

Man charged with assault of girlfriend when accused of stealing money — Montevaius Finch

Montevaius Finch (aka Trapboy Woochie) was jailed this week, charged with aggravated assault, and violating an order of protection. Police say his girlfriend, Shataun Wilson called 911 stating “please come” before disconnecting the call. She had accused Finch of taking money that was missing from her bedroom. She says he then pushed her down and got on top of her and assaulted her. Police documented her injuries and discovered there was already an order of protection against Finch out of Dickson County from the victim.

Woman assaults ex when she finds him drawing nude model at art studio, destroys art — Darian Morris arrested

Police say 29-year-old Darian Nicole Morris forced her way into a Madison art studio after an event had just ended which featured artists and a nude model. Witnesses say she forced her way into the Sometimes Social studio, which is owned by her ex-boyfriend, Ryan Michael Noble. She then headbutted him and destroyed his completed drawing by ripping it into pieces.

DUI: Clayton Thomas Brown says he “had a few” & police find him with open Bow Echo IPA

A concerned citizen called Metro Police about a man driving a white Mercedes SUV who they believed to be intoxicated in the Cookout parking lot on Gallatin Pike. Police made contact with the driver, 36-year-old Clayton Thomas Brown, who was still in the driver’s seat with the engine running and observed an open Bow Echo IPA beer in the cupholder. He admitted to having “a few beers”, and was taken into custody. Brown refused all field sobriety, breath, and blood tests.

Woman arrested after fighting strangers in Broadway brawls — Secret Eisenschmidt

28-year-old Secret Eisenschmidt was caught on camera assaulting another female on Broadway in downtown Nashville late Wednesday night. When officers arrived she was obviously extremely intoxicated, according to a report, and witnesses described the fights she had been in with several people, including the one in the video. with no one wishing to press charges for the assaults, she was charged with public intoxication for her own safety.
