Ft. Campbell soldier Alani Diaz slaps girlfriend into oven, calling her a slut & whore, per report

Caroline Minich says she was giving 24-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Alani Diaz a back rub when he confronted her and began to call her a “wh–e” and a “sl-t”, after having gone through her phone and noticed she had been communicating with other males. She retreated to the kitchen of the West Nashville apartment, and Diaz followed her, continuing to call her names. He then reportedly smacked her across the face with his open palm, sending her crashing into the oven. Police found her bleeding and bruised. Diaz fled the scene before police arrived.

Woman assaults boyfriend after seeing Snapchat notification on his phone — Taquisha Burt

Metro Police say Jacques Jamar Smith called police after his girlfriend, 26-year-old Taquisha Burt, observed a SnapChat message pop up on his phone inside their Hickory Highlands apartment. She then threw a lotion bottle at him before running toward him, attacking him, leaving scratch marks on his back. He attempted to go outside and de-escalate the situation, however, Burt was not open to that option. Video footage corroborated the assault.

Woman charged with driveway DUI, admits to driving child to school while intoxicated — Mycah Hill

Metro Nashville Police found 40-year-old Mycah Hill asleep in the driver’s seat of her idling vehicle in her driveway on Pebble Creek Drive. When officers woke her up, she was drooling from her mouth and unsteady on her feet, and swaying. She admitted to consuming a large amount of alcohol overnight and into the morning hours, including while sitting in the idling vehicle. She says she then had taken prescribed Xanax prior to driving her child to school. Officers located two open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. Despite multiple attempts, she was unable to provide sufficient samples for the breathalyzer.

Woman refuses to pay bar tab at Hermitage Hotel — Julie Anne Burch arrested

Nashville Police 40-year-old Julie Anne Burch refused to pay her bar tab at the Hermitage Hotel in downtown Nashville Thursday. Security didn’t want to prosecute as long as she would agree to leave the property. They discovered her to be extremely intoxicated and attempted to assist her with an Uber, however, she wasn’t sober enough to properly operate the app. She was taken into custody for public intoxication.
