31-year-old Caitlin Skeen was jailed this weekend after she hit her boyfriend, Phillip Brock Sullivan, in the face with her right hand, leaving him with a bloody laceration on his cheek from the ring on her finger. The couple had been out drinking and then returned to their shared home when the argument began. She told officers that he became aggressive with her and she was simply defending herself by hitting him in the face. Brock Sullivan says he was attempting to calm her down due to her agitated state. Due to the victim’s obvious injury, Skeen was determined to be the primary aggressor.
