Nashville teen subdued by Clarksville resident after suspected murder plot fails when gun jams — Trejon Montgomery

18-year-old Trejon Montgomery, of Nashville, is jailed on a $25,00 bond in Clarksville after a resident on Timberline Way found him coming through his bathroom window, wearing all black, a ski mask, and armed with a handgun just before 10 p.m. Sunday. The residents were able to subdue the man until police arrived, leaving a bathtub full of blood from the battle. It is believed that Jordan Marsh, who is a former paramour of the resident, sent Montgomery to kill the resident. Montgomery admits Marsh sent him there, and that an unknown person was his driver.

2 Tourists dead in Nashville, 1 revived, suspected Fentanyl overdoses while downtown

Nashville Police are investigating the suspected overdose deaths (potentially fentanyl) of two men and the revival of a third man who were all found unresponsive on 6th Avenue North downtown at 4:40 a.m. today.

The deceased are identified as Joshua Wolfe, 34, of Elkhorn, Nebraska, and Karl Smith, 25, of Lac la Biche, Alberta, Canada. The survivor, who was revived after being administered Naloxone, is a 26-year-old friend of Wolfe and is also from Elkhorn, Nebraska.

The two Nebraska men arrived in Nashville together last Friday and were due to leave today. Smith was visiting Nashville with a relative and was also due to leave today. There is no indication that Smith and the two Nebraska men knew each other prior to apparently meeting in the entertainment district last night/early this morning.

Man smashes girlfriend’s phone after she maces him — Shane Clark arrested

21-year-old Shane Clark is charged with vandalism after he smashed the phone of his girlfriend, Kamirah Thomas, on the side of the road. Police responded to multiple 911 calls from both individuals just after 9 a.m. at the intersection of Bell Grimes Lane and Devonshire Drive. Inside the car was the victim, and Shane Clark was sitting on the side of the road covering his face, which was in tears. He had been maced. She was reportedly attempting to make him leave the residence and he took her phone and walked away. She followed him in her car to attempt to get her phone back. He tried to get into her car, at which point she maced him. He then smashed her phone on the side of the road. 

MNPD Officers stop a DUI before it happens — Uncooperative Kenneth Steele arrested

Metro Nashville Police Officer Robert Kerpka & Sgt. Travis Zander were both working the Midtown area of the Entertainment District Initiative Saturday when they observed 33-year-old Kenneth Steel attempting to get into the driver’s seat of his own car while stumbling and obviously intoxicated. The officers approached Steele and told him he was too drunk to drive and that he should find another way home. They tried to convince him to get an Uber, and even went as far as speaking to his father via phone in an attempt to convince him. He continued to restate he was able to drive. Unable to let him drive away or leave him there, he was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication. 

Woman charged with tackling and beating her mother in dispute over estate — Krisshayah Greer

21-year-old Krisshayah Greer was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant from December of 2020 charging her with domestic assault and theft. She, along with two other co-defendants, reportedly came to her grandmother’s home, who had recently died. The trio attempted to remove items from the home, however, they encountered her mother, who is the executor of the estate. When she told them they had to leave, all three pushed her down and began to kick and punch her once she was on the ground. Krisshayah is additionally charged with stealing her mother’s iPhone while she was on the ground. All defendants fled the scene before police arrived, and warrants were issued.

Michigan tourist kicked out of Wanna B’s, elbows bouncer, talks on imaginary phone — Jarred Likins

Metro Nashville Police say 26-year-old Jarred Likins was kicked out of Wanna B’s in downtown Nashville for being disorderly inside the bar. While being escorted out of the venue, he elbowed a bouncer in the face. Once inside the patrol car and while being transported to booking he unbuckled his seatbelt to “get his phone”, which he then pretended to talk to someone on during the entire ride to booking. There was no phone, the officers had already bagged it as part of his property.

Carah Johnson charged with DUI while wearing her “I Love Beer” hat

Metro Nashville Police say they encountered 22-year-old Carah Johnson in the back of an ambulance after she rolled her vehicle, and atop her head was a hat that read “I Love Beer”. She immediately addicted to drinking before driving, and then crashing after driving too fast. They say she became “dramatic and emotional” with mood swings from crying to agitation, which included throwing several of her personal items in frustration. She produced a handgun from her person prior to attempting field sobriety tests.

Man charged with felony assault after refusing to follow his girlfriend back on social media — Andrew Wright

Tiffany Lea says the argument with her on-again/off-again boyfriend of two years, 41-year-old Andrew Wright, began when he refused to follow her back on social media after the two recently reunited and he spent the night at her home. The morning after, she confronted him about why he wouldn’t follow her back, eventually demanding he deletes the photos of her from his cell phone. When he wasn’t satisfied they were also removed from the ‘deleted’ items, too, she took his phone and went to the bathroom to make the deletions herself. That’s when she found nude photos of other women in a ‘hidden’ folder on his phone.

She says he then entered the bathroom and pushed her back with his hands around he throat. She broke away, and he jumped on a conference call for work. While he was going that she demanded he leaves and told him she had viewed the ‘hidden’ images. She says he once again charged at her and strangled her against the counter, breaking part of it. She says he continued the assault throughout the house, pushing and jumping on top of her while asking “Is this what you want?”. He then tossed an ottoman at her. Officers documented the broken cabinet and multiple injuries on the victim.
