This story is brought to you by Scoop: Nashville as part of the #bspotter / #VisitMusicCity series which features tourist and downtown-related arrests in Music City.
In May of 2021, 19-year-old Orlando Massey was stopped after he was observed traveling at 90 mph in a 55 mph zone while being paced by a THP officer for approximately a half-mile. He had one job — go to court. In March of 2022, a final forfeiture warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was booked on that overnight, turning a small traffic citation into a much larger deal.

Orlando Massey of Jones Circle in Nashville, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on July 13th, charged with speeding over 75 mph. He is free on a $1,000 bond.
