Meredith Wickstrom says mushrooms & marijuana in her bag with her ID at shady motel aren’t hers

Metro Nashville Police were patrolling the parking lot of the Super 8 motel in Hermitage in the early hours of Wednesday morning when they observed a vehicle parked in the rear parking lot with two people inside, one of which was the driver, 22-year-old Meredith Wickstrom. As officers approached the vehicle, they observed a rolled joint in the center cupholder, and the male passenger had a grinder in his hand. Wickstrom consented to a search of the vehicle, which yielded 16 grams of mushrooms, 10 grams of marijuana, a black scale, and several baggies – all in a fanny pack with Wicktrom’s state-issued ID. She claimed those were not her drugs in her fanny pack with her ID.

Darisha Heard breaks out windows, her mother sits on her until police arrive to restrain her

Metro Nashville Police arrived at the home of Isha Ford to find her 34-year-old Darisha Heard outside and very intoxicated. The two had been in an argument, according to the mother, after Darisha’s young son told Isha that Darisha had been driving while drunk. The child was sent upstairs, and the mother and daughter reportedly began to brawl. Darisha is accused of smashing out a living room window and attempting to smash through a second window until she was stopped by her mother. Darisha punched her mother in the face during this tussle, and her mother then had to physically sit on her daughter until officers arrived, at which time she went outside the home. The mother suffered a bruised and blackened eye and glass shards embedded in her body.

DUI: Lucas Levingston flees from police in Fiat 500

42-year-old Lucas Levingston fled from police after tearing through a blocked section of Donelson Pike this week at a high rate of speed. Officers say Levingston was driving a green Fiat 500 and ignored a line of police cars with flashing lights and emergency equipment activated while protecting an active accident scene. He locked all four wheels and slid to a stop just feet from an Airport Police patrol unit. He then drove away from the scene, and the officers initially lost him. A short time later, Levingston drove back to the same intersection and was stopped by police. He refused to answer any questions and declined all tests. Officers say he reeked of alcohol, was uneasy on his feet, and was obviously intoxicated. He is charged with DUI, evading arrest in a motor vehicle, and violation of the implied consent law.
