Nina Davis jerks steering wheel from Lyft driver, causing a crash as she’s “having a meltdown”

Metro Nashville Police say Lyft passenger, 24-year-old Nina Davis, abruptly grabbed the steering wheel of the vehicle that was transporting her on I-24 and jolted it to the right causing it to crash into a median, totaling the vehicle. The driver, Andrew Moe, says she was “having a meltdown” just before the grabbed the wheel. After the crash, Nina Davis stood in a lane of the interstate attempting to be hit by a vehicle. Officers say she was highly intoxicated and transported her to Metro General for evaluation prior to being transported to booking. While at the hospital, she also picked up a disorderly conduct charge by yelling and screaming “provocative things” and causing a public disruption.

Marqueze Boyd jailed after fleeing a traffic stop in November

21-year-old Marqueze Boyd was booked Sunday on an outstanding warrant charging him with felony evading arrest with a motor vehicle. The charge stems from an attempted November traffic stop when Boyd was driving a white Dodge Charger with Reginald Harding as his passenger. Officers observed a fake temporary tag and erratic driving and were attempting to conduct a traffic stop when Boyd fled the scene as officers approached the vehicle.

Tourist from Ohio, William Brunnett, charged in assault of his wife during Nashville vacation

Metro Nashville Police officers working the Entertainment District Initiative Saturday night in downtown Nashville observed 63-year-old William Brunnett of Twinsburg, Ohio, wrap his hands around the back of his wife’s head while attempting to pull her down and away from Layla’s Honky Tonk. His wife, Laura Brunnett, attempted to push him off and away from her as officers approached the altercation and separated the parties. As officers were placing William into custody for domestic assault, he claimed he was having heat issues and possibly a heart attack. He was then transported to Metro General Hospital for clearance before being booked into jail.

26-year-old Michael Allen Lloyd was found late Sunday night standing in the middle of the offramp from Briley Parkway onto Lebanon Pike in an extreme state of intoxication. When officers responded to the initial call, he still remained in the same spot as first reported. Officers attempted to give him a ride back to his hotel, but he became verbally abusive and began to bang his head on the glass partition of the patrol car. He was then deemed to be too intoxicated to be left on his own and was placed under arrest and transported to booking.

Katherine Price too drunk for downtown Nashville #Arrested #PublicIntoxication

21-year-old Katherine Price was escorted out of the Ole Red bar in downtown Nashville late Saturday night by staff and Metro Nashville Police, after the venue decided she was too drunk to remain in the bar. As her friends attempted to walk her back to where they were staying, she refused and repeatedly attempted to go back inside the bar. She was offered medical transport to be evaluated and avoid jail, but she also refused that option. After a final time of refusing to let her friends get her home safely, Price was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Tyler Blevins goes on rampage inside lover Christopher Roach’s Nashville townhome

Witnesses at the Vista Germantown called police after they observed 28-year-old Tyler Blevins forcing his way into a townhome at the location on October 8th. When officers arrived, they found Blevins outside on the sidewalk, arguing with the owner of the townhome, Christopher Roach. They two are in an intimate relationship, and Blevins was highly intoxicated, according to officers at the scene. Inside the home, Blevins reportedly destroyed multiple glass mugs and glass bottles of liquor. The rampage was reportedly over a set of house keys that were taken.
