29-year-old Meron Alex Mekuria is charged with DUI after police found her passed out behind the wheel of her running vehicle at Popeyes on Murfreesboro Pike, where she admitted to drinking two glasses of wine within the last hour. Officers say she was unsteady on her feet when she exited the vehicle and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She would eventually blow a 0.204 % BAC on a breathalyzer.
Meron Alex Mekuria of Tucker Pl in La Vergne, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on October 8th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $100.
