Police responded to the UPS parking lot on Whites Creek Pike Tuesday morning after multiple reports of a man passed out behind the wheel of a truck that had struck multiple vehicles. Officers arrived to find 24-year-old Chretien Jordan Ivey, who stated he drove there to look for a red truck when he was in a collision in the parking lot. It wasn’t immediately clear why he was searching for another vehicle. Ivey admitted to making a Percocet and smoking marijuana prior to driving and was nodding off during the interaction. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.
