Hillary Lynette Lyles jailed after an outburst when staff wouldn’t let her use the men’s restroom

Security at Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa in downtown Nashville say 29-year-old Hillary Lynette Lyles became aggressive toward them and began to swing at them when they prevented her from using the men’s restroom. Police quickly arrived and located Lyles in the elevator of the venue, which she refused to exit. She was loudly yelling and cursing, and when police attempted to take her into custody for disorderly conduct she grabbed the cuffs in an effort to not be cuffed. She screamed the entire way out of the bar, continuing to be a disturbance. She stated she had been drinking prior to her arrest.

Georgia Man charged after reportedly assaulting female patrons in a downtown bar — Harrison Andrews

Security Staff at Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville flagged down police to alert them 24-year-old Harrison Andrews had assaulted several female patrons and was being escorted outside when he got in an altercation with security. No one wanted to press assault charges so Andrews was charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication and transported to booking.

Tourist Bridgette Garcia attempt to get on stage at Ryman, slips handcuffs

Police say 38-year-old Bridgette Garcia, from Maryland, attempted to get on stage at the Ryman Auditorium Friday night and refused to leave when approached by security and police officers. After being asked to leave multiple times and informed she was no longer welcome at the venue, she was informed she was under arrest for criminal trespass. She began to scream and cause a scene and slipped out of her handcuffs. She continued to curse at officers as they placed her in a transport car and kicked the rear window until she was placed in hobble restraints. She tried to bite an officer, without success.

DUI: Arick Guzman drove his vehicle onto train tracks, heavily intoxicated

Just before 4 a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to the train tracks near Vaughns Gap Road and Hwy 100, where 36-year-old Arick Guzman had driven his white Dodge Journey SUV onto the tracks. He was located outside the vehicle, barely able to stand and with slurred speech. He told officers he had just left a friend’s house and denied drinking any alcohol. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and refused all other testing.

Maplewood High student Demanuel McFarland charged with domestic assault of girlfriend

Police responded to Maplewood High School, where a 17-year-old student stated that her 18-year-old boyfriend Demanuel McFarland, who also attends the school, had grabbed her during an argument and slung her to the ground. McFarland told police he was upset about her messaging other people and took her phone from her and when he confronted her she pulled away, and he pulled her back. The victim says he also slung her to the ground at this time and pulled his arm back as if he were going to strike her, but didn’t. He was transported to booking and charged with domestic assault and given a $100 bond.

Dollar Store employee Dareisha Morton charged with assaulting a customer with a water bottle

In June of 2021, Michelle Robinson says she was shopping at the Whites Creek Dollar Store and as she was leaving, 24-year-old store employee Dareisha Morton threw a water bottle at her and her car. While the bottle missed the victim, it did impact her vehicle. Security footage confirmed the incident and a warrant was signed for Morton’s arrest, charging her with assault. This week, she was finally booked on that outstanding warrant.

Joe Nathan Bridges charged in assault / strangulation of girlfriend in Antioch

Ariel Wright says her boyfriend, 24-year-old Joe Nathan Bridges, strangled her after she found a phone in his possession that she wasn’t familiar with and began asking him questions about it. She says he then tossed her to the ground and punched her in the face multiple times and took her phone to prevent her from calling 911, covered her mouth so no one could hear her screaming, and then physically prevented her from leaving the home. Once officers located the victim, she had blood running from her nose and face and had multiple injuries. Bridges is free on a $12,000 bond.
