29-year-old Kelley Colbert makes her 3rd appearance on Scoop: Nashville in 3 years, once again charged with the domestic assault of her on-again/off-again lover, Ryan Mitchell. In the past, she bleached all of his clothes in 2019, and in 2022 she was caught on video scratching her ex-boyfriend and destroying his vehicle by smashing it with a large rock, breaking out windows, and keying it on three sides. Making her 2023 debut this week, she was jailed on an outstanding warrant from December, which alleges she attempted to gain entry to Ryan’s bedroom via a connecting bathroom. As she attempted to break down the door, she screamed, “I’m going to kill you!” which rightfully made Ryan fear for his life. He fled the residence, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Nashville Police charge Brendan Stevens for 15 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop

23-year-old Nashville musician Brendan Stevens was charged with possessing 2 grams of marijuana in downtown Nashville after Field Training Officer Trevor Taylor observed him driving a white Chevy Cruz without headlines at 11:18 p.m. on Black Friday. During the traffic stop, the officer says he smelled marijuana, and when asked, Brendan stated he had “around 2 grams” in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle discovered a sandwich bag with 15.4 grams of marijuana inside. Stevens was issued a state citation and was booked on the charge this week.

Tourist Todd Miller pooped in hotel elevator, scooted dirty butt across floor like a dog

Metro Nashville Police responded to the Hyatt Centric Downtown Nashville Hotel at 2 p.m. Monday, where 37-year-old tourist Todd Miller was due to check out as his stay had ended. Instead, he was reportedly extremely intoxicated and had just defecated in an elevator and was wandering the floors of the hotel while refusing to leave, including “scooting his poop-covered butt cheeks across the floor like a dog,” according to a witness account of the incident. As officers arrived, the staff pointed to a black Dodge Ram, which he had just gotten into and started the ignition, and that’s where police found the feces-covered man. Miller stated he had just finished a box of wine and asked for a lawyer. He was charged with DUI and transported to booking.

Andrea Soudy charged in assault of her sister

19-year-old Andrea Soudy is charged with the domestic assault of her sister, Alejandra Soudy. Soudy was jailed Monday on the outstanding warrant from October. Her sister arrived at St. Thomas West Hospital for treatment of her injuries from the assault, including a cut on her nose. She told police she was at her residence when she was approached by her sister Andrea as well as her other juvenile sister. She reports the argument was about having to drive to pick up their mother, who they had left at a restaurant. She says both of her sisters punched her and pulled her hair during the argument.

Jeremy Beard says infant became “pretty fussy” before it was brutally beaten unconscious

26-year-old Jeremy Beard was the sole caretaker of a 6-month-old infant on November 2 that had to be rushed to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital when he became unresponsive. Doctors say the child suffered an acute brain hemorrhage, brain compression, extensive retinal hemorrhages, a leg fracture, and multiple bruises to his head and face, all of which are indicative of “inflicted abusive head trauma,” according to medical records. During an interview, Beard told police the chile became “pretty fussy” while in his care. He was booked into jail Wednesday morning and is held in lieu of a half-million-dollar bond.

Heather Pettit charged in DUI crash, refused “feel sobriety tasks” and called mom during arrest

40-year-old Heather Pettit says she had “two or three drinks” prior to crashing her rental car into a car driven by Alyssa Schelnker late Tuesday night at Bell Rd & Couchville Pike. She was sitting on the guardrail when police arrived and initially denied being the driver but later admitted to crossing the yellow line and into the other vehicle, driven by Schelnker, who suffered a laceration on her hand and other injuries. She reportedly reeked of alcohol and repeatedly referred to field sobriety tests as “feel sobriety tasks,” according to police. She called her mother and ignored directives from officers, and refused to be cuffed. She was taken into custody and charged with DUI.
