18-year-old Brandon Howard told police, “I would have dusted y’all!” had it not been for the spike strips they deployed to stop him as he fled in a stolen Toyota Camry late Sunday night. He was driving a 2022 white Toyota Camry that was just stolen from Whites Creek Pike and was being tracked by its owner, who was relaying the information to police. With the assistance of AirOne, all three occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody after short foot pursuits. California’s Christian Montion-Dominguez drunk and disorderly at the Holiday Inn Express
28-year-old Christian Montiondominguez was at the Holiday Inn Express on Broadway in the early hours of Saturday morning, yelling and screaming at security and front desk staff, who confirmed he was not a guest of the hotel. He made multiple threats against both people and refused to leave the property. As police took him into custody for trespassing, they noted him to be extremely intoxicated.
Dustan Conley bounced from Kid Rock’s bar on Friday the 13th
51-year-old Dustan Conley was causing a disturbance at Kid Rock’s bar on Friday the 13th and had to be removed by security staff. Conley attempted to re-enter the bar twice after being bounced. Officers arrived and observed his extreme level of intoxication and refusal to listen to simple instructions and took him into custody for public intoxication.
DUI: Armando Bucio vomiting from vehicle at Broadway intersection at 1 a.m.
27-year-old Armando Bucio was at the intersection of Broadway and 4th at 1:15 a.m. Saturday when officers observed him open his driver’s side door and vomit onto the ground. Officers approached to check on his welfare and immediately observed him to be extremely intoxicated. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and stated he had one Whisky & Coke and one shot of tequila prior to driving. He would later blow a 0.120% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Zachary Johnson charged with having a handgun while smoking out in his car at Percy Priest lake
29-year-old Zachary Johnson was in his vehicle at the Cook Day Use Area of Percy Priest Lake in the early hours of Saturday morning when an officer conducted a traffic stop on him due to the area being closed. While he was explaining that he was “playing on his phone,” the officer noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Johnson admitted to having a little bit of marijuana in the vehicle and that he had just smoked, too. He also advised of a firearm in the vehicle. A search revealed 14 grams of marijuana in the center console and an M&P Shield 9mm under the front passenger seat.
Drunk passenger Douglas Kelly arrested at Nashville International Airport
49-year-old Douglas Kelly was removed from an aircraft at the Nashville International Airport for being too drunk on Friday the 13th. Airport Police responded to the flight and found Kelly to be extremely intoxicated and asked him to leave the airport property several times. When he failed to leave the property, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Josh Longo urinates on himself while leaning on MNPD vehicle in downtown Nashville
22-year-old Josh Longo was found leaning against a Metro Nashville Police vehicle on January 14th and was having difficulty staying upright, according to officers working the Entertainment District in downtown Nashville. He was scrolling on his cellphone as if he was using it; however, the battery was dead. As he was leaning, officers observed him urinate on himself as he struggled to stay upright. Officers attempted to find him a safe way home or contact his friends, but all efforts were unsuccessful. Longo also refused medical transport. He was eventually taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Matthew Haberman can’t land a punch in Tootsie’s fight due to drunkenness
28-year-old Matthew Haberman was at Tootsie’s on Broadway in downtown Nashville late Saturday night when he became too drunk to care for himself and began to fight security at the location, but he was unable to land any blows due to his level of intoxication. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
DUI: Musician Matthew Hugg crashes along three floors of parking garage
An off-duty detective with Metro Nashville Police observed 21-year-old Matthew Hugg strike the gate to the parking garage at 9 City Place late Saturday night and several pillars and parked cars within the garage. Officers made contact with Hugg, who reeked of alcohol, and observed heavy damage to both the front and rear of the vehicle. Inside the second story of the garage, officers located his bumper, headlines, a wiring harness, and paint chips strewn along the driving path. It appeared he struck several pillars before reaching the gate. Hugg performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking, charged with DUI.
Kari Baker too drunk for downtown Nashville, cursed at officers trying to help her
28-year-old Kari Baker was stumbling and falling onto the roadway in downtown Nashville late Saturday night as officers approached her to check on her welfare. As they attempted to assist her, Baker became disorderly, argumentative, and cursed at officers. She had urinated on herself in public and reeked of alcohol. She was advised to go home for the evening but refused. She was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
