Metro Nashville Police arrested 86-year-old Anthony King Monday afternoon, charging him with the domestic assault of his son. Officers responded to a call at their shared residence on Rural Hill Road just after lunch. The victim, Walter King, says his father had been “verbally argumentative” that morning and stated he was no longer welcome at his house. Anthony then reportedly pulled a silver revolver and pointed it at his son’s face while threatening to shoot him. A witness at the residence overheard the threats.
Anthony King was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on January 30th, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,000.
