24-year-old Jake Catagnus was jailed Saturday after police responded to a South Nashville apartment where he lives with his brother, Brandon Catagnus. Officers say the apartment was in disarray, with blood on the walls. The two brothers were reportedly at Kung Fu Saloon earlier in the night, and one came home before the other, though both have differing accounts of who that was. They also had different account of how Brandon’s shoulder was dislocated out of the socket, with reasons varying from wrestling, to “a fight where he didn’t fight back”, to breaking down a door. Jake’s hand was blood covered, he was heavily intoxicated, and he was determined to be the primary aggressor in the assault of his brother.
Jake Catagnus of Elliot Ave in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on February 18th, charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500.
