DUI: Gibson Harrison crashes after drinking at the East Room

24-year-old Gibson Harrison told police he “thought he was OK to drive” after drinking at the East Room in the early hours of Sunday morning and then being involved in a crash in his car. He further clarified he had three shots of vodka while at the bar. He fumbled for insurance and other cards, unable to produce the correct ones during the interaction. The other involved driver was transported to the hospital for minor injuries, and Harrison stated he wanted to cooperate with the police and consented to a blood draw before being transported to jail.

Eric Tufte — drunk & disorderly in the Gulch

27-year-old Eric Tufte was found to be screaming and yelling profanities on 12th Ave S. in the Guluch late Saturday night. He was attempting to fight anyone that walked by on the sidewalk, and police say he was highly intoxicated. Officers took him into custody, charging him with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Keegan Foster charged in ‘assault’ of bouncer at Honky Tonk Central

26-year-old Keegan Foster says washed-up law enforcement officer turned club bouncer Ryan Burlesci grabbed him and threw him to the ground as he was being escorted out of Honky Tonk Central later Saturday night. Foster says he then threw the bouncer’s hat off his head in retaliation. Burlesci says he was pushed in the chest. Foster was taken into custody and charged with assault, via private prosecution.

Michael Ledford causes ruckus from The Twelve Thirty Club to Tootsie’s

24-year-old Michael Ledford was kicked out of The Twelve Thirty Club on Broadway in downtown Nashville late Saturday night after causing a disturbance in the bar. As bouncer Rayshon Boyington was escorting him to the door, Lefrod assaulted him by smacking his hand away and pushing him back. Ledford then fled out the door and was observed a few hours later near Tootsie’s in a state of extreme intoxication. He was taken into custody at that time.

Jared Scott: “I’m pretty drunk and probably won’t remember this in the morning”

31-year-old Jared Scott wasn’t ready to leave Honky Tonk Central as they were closing in the early hours of Friday morning and threw his drink on a bouncer who informed him it was closing time. He then attempted to take the bouncer, Mark Johnny Thomas, to the ground as he was being escorted out of the venue. He was cuffed and yelling and screaming when Metro Nashville Police arrived and told them he was ready to go to jail. He continued that he was “pretty drunk” and “probably won’t remember any of this in the morning.” No worries, Jared, we even got you a photo for your scrapbook.

DUI: Joanna Green charged after falling asleep behind the wheel in downtown Nashville

27-year-old Joanna Green was jailed on Saturday night after falling asleep drunk at the wheel on 4th and Broadway and resisting arrest. Concerned citizens flagged down officers about a driver being passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle. When officers approached and evaluated her welfare, she was asked to do sobriety testing, but she kept stating how she needed to use the bathroom. She was unsteady on her feet, had slurred speech, and smelled of alcohol. Green was extremely uncooperative, argued, and caused injury to an officer, so she was transferred to a different patrol car. She would later blow a 0.151% on a breathalyzer.

Makayla Coffman hops into driver’s seat and drives away during DUI investigation of driver

25-year-old Makayla Coffman was jailed on Saturday night after hopping into the driver’s seat while drunk and driving away during a police investigation of the original driver, who was also driving under the influence. Officers were flagged down on 4th and Broadway by concerned citizens stating there was a driver asleep at the wheel. Officers removed the driver from the vehicle and began evaluating her welfare. Then Coffman, the passenger, woke up, got into the driver’s seat, and began driving away. The vehicle was stopped, and she was able to exit but was very unsteady on her feet, had slurred speech, and smelled of alcohol. She agreed to a sobriety test and performed poorly, and her breathalyzer returned a 0.98% BAC.

Jason Scott attempted to drive away from the airport in a rental car while drunk

42-year-old Jason Scott was charged with DUI Saturday morning after crashing a rental car into a pole in the rental area of the airport parking garage. Enterprise rental car had reported a drunk driver attempting to leave in a rental vehicle and backed up into a pole. Staff told police that Scott smelled heavily of alcohol and was turned away at the exit gate by Enterprise staff. When the officer approached Scott, he had glossy eyes and alcohol coming from his breath when he spoke. He agreed to sobriety testing and performed poorly.

Jennifer Leahy — too drunk for downtown Nashville

27-year-old Jennifer Leahy was charged with public intoxication Saturday morning after being unable to care for her own safety. Officers were flagged down by passersby for an intoxicated female. Leahy could not remember the last bar she was at with her friend and seemed confused and lost. She could not remember the name and location of the hotel she had been staying at. She had bloodshot watery eyes, slurred speech, unsteady balance, and a strong odor of alcohol on her breath. Leahy almost fell over several times in the street while trying to show officers the last bar she was at. Leahy was alone, extremely drunk, and had no means to return to her hotel because she couldn’t remember which one she was staying at. She refused medical aid when EMS arrived to evaluate her after vomiting several times.

Casey Koehler brawled at Whiskey Bent Saloon

31-year-old Casey Koehler was one of many people involved in a brawl at the Whiskey Bent Saloon early Saturday morning just before last call for alcohol. No one wanted to prosecute him for assault; however, police found him to be extremely intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
