27-year-old Emily Butler was walking on Broadway near Nudie’s Honky Tonk late Friday night when she was observed to be instead n her feet and tripping and falling into a construction area. While she was still on the ground from a fall, officers made contact to assist her. She was visibly intoxicated and was unable to stand or use her phone. She was offered transportation to the hospital for medical treatment, but she refused. Unable to care for herself, Butler was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Emily Butler was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on March 10, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $100.
