23-year-old Peyton Bearden was found unconscious behind the wheel of his vehicle on Highway 70 S in the early hours of Sunday morning after crashing into a curb. Once he was attentive, officers asked what happened, and Bearden reportedly shrugged his shoulders. He then admitted to drinking three mixed alcoholic drinks in the hour prior to driving. He reeked of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He blew 0.230% BAC on a breathalyzer, nearly three times the legal limit in Tennessee.
Peyton W. Bearden of Franci Court in Kingston Springs, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on March 12th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,500.
