29-year-old Shawn Chapman was drinking at a downtown bar just after 2 p.m. Saturday when police were alerted he was attempting to leave the location without paying his open bar tab. Security had Chapman detained when police arrived. Officers observed him to be extremely intoxicated and took him into custody for public intoxication. Management did not want to prosecute for theft of services at the time of the arrest.
Shawn Nicholas Chapman was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on March 18th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100.
