56-year-old Joseph Arana was jailed on April 2nd after yelling in his hotel room at the Hyatt Place Opryland on Rudy Circle and disturbing guests. Hotel staff told police that they did not want Arana on the property because of his yelling in room 229. Officers noted there was another call reporting the yelling coming from room 229. Police spoke with Arana and told him he wasn’t welcome on the property. He was drunk, and several liquor bottles were scattered throughout the hotel room. Arana agreed to leave the hotel, so police left the location until they received another call about him refusing to leave. Officers returned to the hotel and saw Arana outside with all his luggage still inside his room. He was drunk and yelling that he wanted to speak to a manager. Management told police they had already talked to Arana, refused him service, and told him to leave.
Joseph Arana was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 2nd, charged with public intoxication and criminal trespass. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $250.
