Texas Tourist Anea Simon boosts $89 shirt from Dillard’s at Rivergate Mall

36-year-old Anea Simon was jailed on April 15th for stealing a shirt from Dillard’s at Rivergate Mall. Police responded, and Dillard’s management removed merchandise from her purse that they saw her steal on camera. She was given a Notice of Trespass, and police watched the video evidence of her stealing a shirt that was valued at $89. Simon does not qualify for a citation as she is an out-of-state resident.

Ebenezer Bedasso to police: I’ll go out like Tony Montana in a gunfight (at a Subway)

21-year-old Ebenezer Bedasso was jailed on April 14th after falling asleep while intoxicated in a Subway bathroom on Bell Road. Nashville Fire first responders told police that they found Bedasso asleep in the bathroom with a Springfield 9mm handgun beside him after they were called to the scene. They kicked the gun away and stored it safely until the police arrived. Bedasso wasn’t making any sense and thought he was still downtown on Broadway, but he was asleep in the bathroom for almost 4 hours. When police spoke with Bedasso, he appeared highly intoxicated and smelled of alcohol. He told the police, “I had a few beers.” He also told police he did not understand, stating, “I’m too drunk.” At booking, he told officers that he found the gun that was at the scene and “You don’t know it yet, but you fu*/ed up.” Bedasso also let the police know that he wished he was awake when they arrived so he could engage in a gunfight and go out like “Tony Montana.”

Wilson Tzalam tinkles on stranger’s apartment door while intoxicated

19-year-old Wilson Tzalam was jailed on April 16th for urinating on the door of an apartment that wasn’t his. Police responded to a call of a male Hispanic trying to break into an apartment. When they arrived, Tzalam was urinating on a door and was clearly intoxicated with bloodshot watery eyes, slurred speech, and unsteady on his feet. He had to lean against a wall to keep himself up. He stated he was not trying to break in but was at the wrong apartment but clearly couldn’t care for himself as he couldn’t even give the police his name.

Tourist Michael Thompson charged in assault of girlfriend in Nashville

42-year-old Michael Thompson was jailed on April 16th for allegedly pushing his girlfriend, Bridgette Luckie, to the ground and kicking her in the stomach. Police responded to 2nd Avenue, where Luckie’s friend told them that she and her boyfriend, Michael Thompson, had been arguing and he was saying inappropriate things to Luckie and her friends. Luckie told police that her boyfriend said he was going to kill her child and was being aggressive with her friends, so she slapped him in the face, and he pushed her to the ground and kicked her. Luckie’s friend said she saw her slap Michael and then saw him push her to the ground, but she didn’t see him kick her. An employee from a nearby store told police they saw Luckie get pushed and kicked while she was on the ground. Police determined the physical reaction by Thompson was not equal to the slap made by Luckie, and both were taken to jail.

37-year-old Bridgette Luckie was jailed on April 16th for slapping her boyfriend in the face after he threatened to kill her child. Police responded to 2nd Avenue, where Luckie’s friend told them that she and her boyfriend, Michael Thompson, had been arguing and he was saying inappropriate things to Luckie and her friends. Luckie told police that her boyfriend said he was going to kill her child and was being aggressive with her friends, so she slapped him in the face, and he pushed her to the ground and kicked her. Luckie’s friend said she saw her slap Michael and then saw him push her to the ground, but she didn’t see him kick her. An employee from a nearby store told police they saw Luckie get pushed and kicked while she was on the ground. Police took both into custody.

Mason Gray Cunningham charged after rowdy behavior in downtown Nashville

24-year-old Mason Gray Cunningham was jailed on April 16th for acting aggressively despite the officer’s command to stop. Police responded to Third Avenue, where they witnessed two men yelling at each other aggressively. Bystanders broke them up, and the police told them both to leave. However, Cunningham didn’t go; he continued to yell and try to fight. He was taken into custody due to the likelihood that his violent and threatening behavior would continue in public.

Tourist Anabel Mcilvaine charged with Downtown Nashville DUI on her birthday

25-year-old tourist Anabel Mcilvaine was jailed on April 16th, on her 25th birthday, for driving her Toyota Highlander drunk on I-40 after a night of bar hopping on Broadway. When police spoke with Mcilvaine to ask how the accident happened, her breath smelled strongly of alcohol, and her speech was slurred and slow. Her eyes were bloodshot, and her mouth was dry. She told the police the accident was her fault because she drank too much. She agreed to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Later, she told police that she had 5-6 cranberry and vodkas from several bars on Broadway.

Jeremy Keech jailed after repeatedly starting fights in downtown Nashville

Metro Police say they broke up a fight between 30-year-old Jeremy Keech and another patron on Broadway in downtown Nashville late Saturday night. Each went separate ways, and that appeared to be the end of the incident. A short time later, the same officers observed Keech walking the street in search of the individual he had previously been fighting. As he found him, he began to fight him a second time and attack other random people on the street. Keech, who was extremely intoxicated, was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Texas Tourist Jeffery Soto charged with DUI after three vodka martinis in downtown Nashville

56-year-old Jeffery Soto says he drank three vodka martinis at a Broadway bar in downtown Nashville Friday night before getting behind the wheel of his vehicle with his wife as a passenger. An officer noticed him driving well under the speed limit on Interstate 40 just after 1 a.m., and he was crossing the lanes on the road. The officer initiated his emergency equipment, but instead of stopping, Soto drove one mile and then crashed into a retaining wall of exit ramp 52. He staggered out of the driver’s seat and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He was taken into custody and charged with DUI.

Danial Muhammadi charged with drag racing on Donelson Pike

19-year-old Danial Muhammadi was driving a silver car on Donelson Pike on April 14 as he began to race a black car traveling beside him. A THP Trooper was nearby and observed the two catch up and attempt to pass one another until the officer was eventually able to catch up with the cars, activating his emergency lights. The black sedan was able to flee, and he was unable to get a tag number; however, the silver sedan complied with the traffic stop. He was charged with drag racing and reckless driving. The trooper noted his car was smoking due to the way it was being driven.
