Brenda Ruiz Solorzano attacks husband with flower vases

46-year-old Brenda Ruiz Solorzano was jailed last week for trying to hit her husband with a vase after an argument at their home on Kinwood Drive. Police responded and spoke with Fermin Martinez, who said he and his wife were arguing about their child being disrespectful when Brenda threw a drink on the ground in a fit of rage. Martinez went outside and told the child to grab food from the store while he continued mowing the lawn. Brenda came outside, stood in front of the lawnmower, and started yelling at him. Martinez told his wife he would not argue with her outside and grabbed her arm to guide her inside. When they got to the porch, she picked up a flower vase to try and hit him. Once they got inside the house, they continued to argue, and Brenda grabbed another vase and threw it at Martinez, but he said it didn’t hit him.

He had two small fresh scratches on his face, but he claims he doesn’t know where they came from. Brenda denies anything physical took place and that there was only an argument. Brenda told police that the front screen door knocked over the vase, and she slammed her hand down on the table, causing the other vase to fall over. She claims her husband never grabbed her to bring her inside, but with the evidence of the destroyed vases and the injuries to Martinez, she was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Annette said she wasn’t going anywhere until Mr. Ping paid her the money he owed her. The argument continued, then Annette grabbed a fork and placed it under his neck, stating, “I am not going anywhere until you pay me my money.” That’s when Mr. Ping decided to call the police; he told them he was not afraid for his safety, but he wanted her to leave.
