Police say 34-year-old Sarah Pence couldn’t keep her Kia Soul between the lines late Monday night as she drove on Long Hollow Pike. She drove almost to the middle of an intersection at a red traffic light and continued to cross both lines as an officer followed behind her. A traffic stop was initiated and Pence declared she was unaware she was driving erratically or incorrectly. She performed poorly on subsequent field sobriety tests and consented to a blood draw. She stated they would find Adderall in her system.
Sarah Pence of Lincoya Bay Dr in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 25th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,500, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
