29-year-old Caitlin Sholey was jailed this week after walking drunk into a home uninvited to use the bathroom. Police responded to Goodbar Drive and spoke with the homeowners, who said they were outside of their home at their freezer when Sholey walked past them and into their home. They confronted Sholey, and she shoved them, saying she had to go to the bathroom. They told her multiple times that she wasn’t welcome in their home and had to leave, but she continued and stayed in the bathroom. Police found Sholey still in the bathroom, slumped over the bathtub with her pants around her knees. She was extremely drunk and had a hard time speaking with the police. The police handcuffed her and sat her down on the toilet to talk. It was clear that she was utterly incapable of caring for herself. Despite the severity of the situation, the homeowners did not wish to press charges.
