35-year-old West Virginia tourist Kenneth Adkins was at Big Shotz bar in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning with his wife, along with his best friend, Bradlee Bailey. Police arrived to find Baily lying unconscious on the floor of the bar, and EMS transported him to the hospital. Officers interviewed Adkins, who stated they witnessed the best friend kissing his wife, and Adkins knocked him unconscious with a single punch.
Kenneth Adkins of Chrystal Lane in Barboursville, WV, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 30, charged with aggravated assault. He is free on a $5,000 bond.
