Officers determined to gather more information, but both individuals were very uncooperative and refused to give any more information. They began to yell at officers to “Arrest her!” but would not give any further information on what occurred or why. As officers began to speak with the other involved individual, Sparks ran up and smacked her in the face in front of officers. She was taken into custody for the assault of Janna Forsythe, and disorderly conduct.

Tourist Josie Yuede jailed after wild drunken night in downtown Nashville

Victor Garcia — too drunk for downtown Nashville

39-year-old Victor Garcia was found “slumped over and swaying back and forth” on the sidewalk on Broadway in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Saturday morning. Officers spoke with him to check on his welfare and noticed he reeked of alcohol. Garcia agreed to get a rideshare, but then realized he didn’t have a phone with him, and didn’t know the numbers of anyone to retrieve him. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Tourist Austin Hubbart charged in brutal assault of wife in Nashville AirBNB

27-year-old Austin Hubbart and his wife, Megan, were visiting Nashville this weekend from Villa Grove, Illinois. The couple was drinking on Broadway Saturday night before returning to their AirBNB on Harmony Way. Both had been drinking in excess, and Austin threw up in the Uber on the way to the AirBNB. He became angry after that, and his rage continued once at their destination. She says he pushed her to the ground, where he repeatedly kicked her in the head and body multiple times, causing her to lose consciousness for an unknown amount of time. Once she awoke, she found him in the bed asleep and called police. Officers took Austin into custody and charged him with felony aggravated assault.

Matthew Keith says “everything went black” while drinking in downtown Nashville

23-year-old Matthew Keith was observed swaying around the stop sign at the intersection of Harrison & 5th in downtown Nashville Saturday in an extreme state of intoxication. He told officers he had been drinking on Broadway and repeatedly asked where he was at. He further stated he was drinking with his friends when “everything went black.” He was given an opportunity to provide an address to be taken to or to contact his friends, but was unsuccessful in both tasks. He was a danger to himself in his condition and was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Rebecca Nieves threatens medics, resists police, after drinking too much in downtown Nashville

Police and medics responded to the Ole Red Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning, where 25-year-old Rebecca Angelic Nieves was initially believed to be having a seizure — it turns out she was just extremely intoxicated. As medics placed her in the back of the ambulance for medical clearance, Nieves began to threaten to harm the medics and was eventually placed into custody by police after it was determined she was just intoxicated. She then pulled away from officers, resisting arrest. Nieves then vomited all over herself and the back seat of the patrol car, and produced a second round once inside booking.

Michael Arnold found with two handguns after DUI traffic stop on I-440

34-year-old Michael Arnold of Bethesda, MD, was traveling over 90 mph on I-440 when he swerved and nearly struck a police patrol vehicle Saturday evening. Officers conducted a traffic stop and found Arnold to be extremely intoxicated and reeking of alcohol. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.247% BAC on a breathalyzer. Inside the vehicle, officers discovered four empty Whiteclaw cans, one empty Twisted Tea can, and two consumed screwdrivers. A Glock handgun was located in the driver’s side door, and a Colt revolver was in an unlocked compartment.
