34-year-old Nathan ‘Nate’ Felty told police he had “two IPA Beers” at Up-Down Nashville Wednesday night before he was pulled over in a traffic stop for traveling 51 mph in a 35 mph zone on East Nashville. He wasn’t aware a Metro Nashville Police officer was behind him when he sped up and brushed against a lane marker and abruptly overcorrected as the road shifted at Eastland Avenue. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He eventually blew a 0.163% BAC on a breathalyzer, more than double the legal limit in Tennessee.
