58-year-old Timothy Teal had an altercation with his roommate, Hal Pierce, at their Raywood Lane residence late April 29th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Pierce, who stated that Teal arrived home from work intoxicated and became upset because one of their roommates drank his coffee. Pierce said he entered the living room, yelling, before walking up to him and punching him in the side of his face, causing minor redness. Pierce added that the punch also broke his new $200 prescription glasses. He then told police that Teal was sleeping in his room. Officers spoke with Teal, who said “nothing physical” occurred and that the other roommates “just want him gone.” He admitted to arguing with Pierce but denied the other allegations. Teal was taken into custody for vandalism and domestic assault.
Timothy W Teal was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 29th, charged with domestic assault and vandalism. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,000.
