53-year-old Darren John Clark had an altercation with Benjamin Hayden Stewart while working at The Stage on Broadway late May 11th. Security at the establishment separated them before officers arrived. Clark told officers he had two drinks by the stairs, and when he turned around, Stewart threw them away. This prompted Clark to follow and confront Stewart, which led to a scuffle, where he punched Stewart in the face, leaving visible injuries. Stewart provided officers with a similar statement before advising them that he wanted to prosecute for the attack. Clark was taken into custody for assault on May 12th.
Darren John Clark was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 12th, charged with assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $4,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
