24-year-old Mecca Johnson was taken into custody for driving under the influence on May 11th. Officers arrived to back up another unit when they witnessed Johnson exit her vehicle and walk over to her cousin, who they were speaking with. They pulled her to the side and asked her “what was going on,” to which she said she was there to pick up her cousins. She reeked of alcohol and exhibited signs of inebriation. Officers asked Ms. Johnson how much she had to drink, and she replied that she didn’t know because she had lost count after drinking at Jason Aldean’s Rooftop bar. She took sobriety tests, performed poorly, and was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
Mecca Johnson of Day Street in Logansport, IN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 11th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
