19-year-old Rayven Hope Jenkins had a domestic incident with her girlfriend, Liberty Hall, at their Hickory Hollow Place apartment on the afternoon of May 23rd. When officers arrived, they separated and interviewed the two. Hall told them that she asked Jenkins why she “dropped the blunt,” and she replied, “I don’t know why you dropped the blunt; that’s your bad.” Then, she asked her, “Why are you trying to be smart?” Jenkins said, “You have a smart mouth. Do you want to come outside and fight?” After Hall responded, “No,” Jenkins became agitated and approached her as she sat down, so she stood up, which was when Jenkins punched her in the face, sparking a scuffle. Hall did not wish to prosecute her for the attack. Jenkins was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Rayven Jenkins of Hickory Hollow in Antioch, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 12th, charged with domestic assault. She is free on a $100 bond.
