25-year-old Egil Miranda-Perez was observed speeding in his Toyota Tacoma near Old Hickory Boulevard and Dickerson Pike around 11:30 p.m. on May 29th. Deputies also noticed his right brake light was not working as he swerved between lanes. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Cobblestone Creek. Miranda-Perez was initially argumentative during their interaction and admitted to having two drinks before driving. Officers prompted him with sobriety tests, which he consented to and performed poorly. After being informed of implied consent, he agreed to provide them with two breath samples, resulting in 0.088% BAC and 0.091% BAC. Miranda-Perez was taken into custody for driving under the influence on May 30th.
Egil Miranda-Perez of Highpoint Road in Pleasant View, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 30th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
