19-year-old Berk Yusuf had a single-vehicle accident near Hickory Hollow Parkway and Crossings Place around 6:09 a.m. on June 9th. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Yusuf, who was dirty and had no shirt on. Yusuf stated he had been in a crash but was unsure where it happened. Yusuf was extremely uneasy on his feet and had urinated himself prior to officers arrival. Officers prompted Yusuf with sobriety tests, which he consented to and performed poorly. He initially agreed to provide a chemical sample but later changed his mind. Yusuf was taken into custody for an implied consent violation and driving under the influence.
Berk Yusuf was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 9th, charged with driving under the influence and implied consent violation. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,500.
