39-year-old Derek Hudgens was beating Morgan Wallen’s This Bar with a metal pipe on 4th Avenue North on June 13th. Staff alerted the authorities, advising them that Hudgens had walked away towards Broadway. When officers headed that way, security flagged them down and pointed him out. Hudgens was seen standing in the valet lanes at the Hilton Hotel, holding a metal pipe. Officers approached him and noticed he reeked of alcohol, showing signs of impairment before admitting to having a 40 oz beer. Officers discovered that the Hilton Hotel had an active trespass waiver and detained him for the occurrence. Hudgens was taken into custody for criminal trespass and public intoxication.
Derek Hudgens of Emily Drive in Smyrna, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 13th, charged with criminal trespassing and public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
