23-year-old Celine Louissant had a domestic altercation with her husband, Karlos Normil, at their Twin Circle Drive residence late June 17th. Normil told responding officers that he and Louissant argued while cooking in the kitchen, causing him to go to the garage, where he sat down with their daughter on his lap. Then, he stated that Louissant came outside trying to take their daughter and continue their dispute. Normil said after he did not let her take their child, a scuffle ensued. During the altercation, Louissant scratched Normil between his collarbone and poked his eye, leaving visible marks. After transporting Normil to Southern Hills Hospital, police spoke with Bernard Nelson, a witness, who corroborated Normil’s statement. Louissant was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Celine Louissant was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 17th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $1,000.
