26-year-old Tayuanna Eaton was involved in a domestic altercation with her ex-boyfriend and roommate, Diazhon Butler, at their Chimney Top Drive apartment residence on June 16th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Eaton, who claimed that she and Butler were verbally arguing when Butler said something about her family. This caused Eaton to become upset, striking him. Eaton claimed that they both began fighting after she struck him but was unsure about how many times or where she hit Butler. Officers then spoke with Butler, who explained that Eaton got upset about a statement he made regarding her mother. Proceeding this, Eaton then punched him in the face, causing a busted lip and bloody nose. Officers noticed Butler’s busted lip, which was documented. Due to Butler’s injuries and the statements made, Eaton was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Tayuanna K. Eaton of Chimney Top Dr in Antioch, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 16th, charged with domestic assault with bodily injury and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license. She is free on a $2,000 bond.
