26-year-old Christopher Ross was seen visibly intoxicated outside Tin Roof Demonbreun on June 23rd. While patrolling, officers observed Ross arguing with security personnel because they would not allow him inside the bar. Officers approached to assist security, but Ross could not form coherent sentences. Ross eventually told officers that he needed to call his mother. Officers waited for Ross, but he was unable to unlock his phone, so the officers allowed him to use their phone. Ross continued to struggle to enter the correct number, so officers offered to give him a ride to get him a ride home or to medical attention. Ross refused, but he was observed walking into traffic; he was deemed unable to care for his safety and was taken into custody for public intoxication.
Christopher Ross was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 23rd, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100.
