27-year-old Bristyl Baker was observed leaning against a pole near the 1st Avenue South and Broadway intersection at 10:45 p.m. Thursday night. Officers noticed that Baker couldn’t stand up by herself and that it appeared that she was under the influence of an intoxicant before losing sight of her. Officers then observed her walking behind Ascend Amphitheater and attempting to open a locked door until she proceeded to trip over a curb. After this, officers approached her and discovered that she was visibly impaired. Baker told them she did not know where she lived and had no friends or family able to retrieve her. Baker was deemed a danger to herself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.
Bristyl Baker was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 27th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $100.
