25-year-old Ripley Grace Torbett stole merchandise from Target on November 8th, 2023. Torbett was observed gathering $571.91 worth of merchandise before going to the self-checkout, scanning a $1 price tag, and leaving without paying the full amount for the items. A warrant was issued for her arrest on March 14th, 2024. Torbett was taken into custody for theft on June 25th, 2024. Torbett was previously arrested on March 6th for a two month streak of stealing from Target.
Ripley G. Torbett of Plymouth Road in Johnson City, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 25th, charged with theft. She is free on a $5,000 bond.
