25-year-old Jesse Armenta caused a disturbance at the 3rd Avenue South Hyatt Place around 2:20 a.m. on July 21st. Police were called to the establishment and advised that an intoxicated individual, later identified as Armenta, was becoming aggressive with hotel employees. Responding officers located and spoke with him, during which he stated he was in Manchester, TN. Officers noticed Armenta was visibly intoxicated, reeking of alcohol. During their interaction, he could not tell them where he was staying or if he was with anyone in town. Officers deemed Armenta a danger to himself and tried to detain him. However, he could not stand independently or walk straight and nearly fell over while being escorted to their patrol car. Armenta was then taken into custody for public intoxication.
Jesse Armenta was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on July 21st, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
