29-year-old Roxanne Elaine Moya caused a disturbance at Barstool Nashville in the early hours of July 27th. Security at the establishment flagged officers down, advising them that Moya, who was highly intoxicated, had been denied entry and refused to leave the location. When the police spoke with Moya, she showed signs of intoxication. Moya continued to shove her driver’s license in the security officer’s face and was being a public annoyance.
A friend of hers, who officers deemed relatively sober, told them he would get her home and exited the Barstool line. While escorting Moya from the premises, she put her license in the officer’s face. She then punched the officer in the face, causing them to fall to the ground. Moya continued to be combative until officers secured her in handcuffs. Moya was then taken into custody for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and assault on an officer.
Roxanne Elanie Moya was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on July 27th, charged with assault of officer, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,000.
