39-year-old Adam Minten refused to exit a taxicab in the early hours of August 18th. The cab driver flagged officers down regarding this and advised that Minten was unable to provide his address due to his intoxication level. The cab driver then told Minten to get out, which he refused.
When the police spoke with Minten, they told him to exit the cab and asked where he was staying. However, Minten refused to cooperate. During their interaction, officers noticed Minten reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment. Minten was deemed unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.
Adam P. Minten was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 18th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100.
