37-year-old Katerra Shanay Johnson stole from the Opry Mills Drive TJ Maxx on July 31st. The police report stated that Johnson entered the establishment with a reusable shopping bag and concealed a pillow and several infant clothing sets, totaling $82.92. Then, Johnson left the location without paying for the merchandise and entered a silver Honda, which detectives later discovered was registered to her.
When the police reviewed surveillance of the incident, it showed Johnson clearly with her distinctive tattoos. A warrant was issued for her arrest on August 8th. Johnson was later taken into custody for theft on August 18th.
Katerra Shanay Johnson of Tennessee Ave in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 18th, charged with theft. She is free on a $1,000 bond.
