27-year-old Ethan Roney and a group of individuals were seen trespassing at Barstool Nashville on September 8th. Officers observed this and contacted security. Officers were informed that one of the group members, Roney, was escorted out of the location because of an earlier incident in the bar. Security also informed officers that they told the group they were not allowed back inside and warned them about trespassing. During the law enforcement’s conversation with security, they observed Roney return to the property, get in line, and attempt to get back inside.

As officers were telling Roney about the crime he had just committed, they observed several signs of impairment. Roney then started to get argumentative with the officers. Despite this, officers let him leave with the rest of the group after they warned him. As Roney was walking away, officers reported hearing him say, “That cop kicked me out! He doesn’t know who he’s messing with! I’ll Kill him!” Two people outside Barstool Nashville became offended by what Roney said, so they confronted him. This confrontation almost resulted in a fight. After stopping this fight, officers deemed Roney a danger to himself and others. Roney was then taken into custody and charged with public intoxication, criminal trespassing, and disorderly conduct.

Ethan Roney of Spantown Rd in Arrington, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 8th, charged with criminal trespass, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $750, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
