26-year-old Jay Lane was lying down and screaming in the roadway near Haven At The Gulch apartment complex on Division Street in the early hours of September 6th. Responding officers encountered Lane and noticed he reeked of alcohol while showing signs of impairment.
The police report stated that Lane was twitching and having involuntary movements consistent with narcotic use. Lane was deemed a danger to himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.
Jay Lane was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 6th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $250.
