33-year-old Thomas Raymond Carver caused a disturbance at the Hyatt Place Nashville Downtown Hotel late September 7th. Dispatch received a call regarding Carver refusing to leave the location. Before the police arrived at the business, they confirmed that the hotel had a valid trespass waiver on file. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the hotel staff, who stated that they told Carver to leave multiple times. They warned him that they would call 911 if he kept disregarding them.
Carver responded by shrugging his shoulders and laying his head back down on the table. The police observed Carver passed out on the table, so they tried to wake him up. After several attempts, Carver woke up, and officers asked him for his identification. However, Carver handed them various credit and debit cards repeatedly. Officers noticed Carver reeked of alcohol and showed signs of intoxication. Carver was deemed a danger to himself and detained for the incident. Carver was then taken into custody for criminal trespass and public intoxication on September 8th.
Thomas Raymond Carver of Lafayette Street in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 8th, charged with criminal trespass and public intoxication. He is free on a $600 cash bond.
