Woman attacks boyfriend with soiled underwear — Lesly Castaneda Ramirez

22-year-old Lesly Castaneda Ramirez was jailed this week after attacking shoving a pair of soiled underwear into his face, according to police. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call on May 28 on Hilson Drive and met with Guadalupe Pena, who explained he was in an argument with his girlfriend when she suddenly picked up a pair of soiled underwear and shoved them in his face. He says he used his foot to push her away, at which point she slapped him in the face.

Tomory Stephens fled police at 100 mph to “get to the gym to work out.”

22-year-old Tomory Stephens fled from police Thursday as he weaved through traffic in his white Dodge Charger on I-65 at speeds near 100 mph. Officers engaged in pursuit but eventually lost sight of the vehicle, but not before noting the license plate. MNPD Officer Hubbard then visited the address of the registered owner on Electric Ave and met with an elderly lady who told police that was her grandson’s car, and he was the person driving it. She called Stephens, and he returned to the residence and admitted to speeding and fleeing. He stated he was driving fast so he could “make it to the gym to work out.” He was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Stephen Bloomfield charged with violating an order of protection

36-year-old Stephen Bloomfield is charged with violating an order of protection after he showed up early to pick up his belonging and opened the door undressed when police arrived. Robyn Cain called police when she observed, via remote cameras, that her ex-boyfriend Stephen Bloomfield was inside the home and in violation of a court order. Officers verified the court order and met with Bloomfield, who had just taken a shower at the home and was undressed when he opened the door. He explained he came to the house early and unsupervised, despite having an arranged supervised time later in the day. He was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Madison Haneburg charged with DUI after drinking at Basement East Thursday night

23-year-old Madison Haneburg was driving at 83 mph in a 55 mph zone late Thursday night when she passed a state trooper who conducted a traffic stop. She initially pulled against the left concrete shoulder and had to be instructed to pull to the right side of the road. Officers say she reeked of alcohol upon approach and admitted to drinking three 10 oz tequila drinks at the Basement East prior to driving. She estimated her level of intoxication as a “4” when asked to rate it on a scale from 1 to 10. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking.

Simeon Dehart charged with DUI after crash on McCrory Lane

22-year-old Simeon Dehart was jailed on May 27th after flipping his truck into a ditch on Mccrory Lane. When police arrived on the scene, Dehart was being checked out by EMTs and appeared to have no injuries. He was identified by his Pennsylvania driver’s license. Police could smell alcohol coming from his body as they spoke to him. They also noticed his red, watery eyes. The vehicle search yielded a loaded handgun in the center console and several Colt 45 beer cans. Police asked Dehart if he had anything to drink, and he said he had a couple of beers around 7 am that morning before driving from Pennsylvania. Dehart agreed to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Due to his test results, his physical indicators, and the open containers in the vehicle, he was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Bobby Paul charged with aggravated assault of ex-boyfriend Matthew Tidwell

52-year-old Bobby Paul is charged with the assault of his ex-lover and current roommate, Matthew Tidwell. Police say that on May 27, Paul punched Tidwell in the face during an argument. The victim was then thrown against a wall and struck again before being thrown on the floor, with Paul standing over him to continue the assault. A home security camera captured the assault and was viewed by officers.

Justin Shull assaults his mother’s boyfriend with a stick

24-year-old Justin Shull was jailed on May 26 after assaulting his mother’s boyfriend with a stick. Officers responded to the Murfreesboro Pike residence, where Shull had already fled the scene. Roy Duke told police Shull assaulted him with a stick and then smashed out both headlights and one taillight of his yellow Ford Ranger. Officers observed broken lights and plastic on the ground and located Shull and took him into custody.

Richard Harvell pulled from overhang of Shelby Street Bridge

19-year-old Richard Harvell was sitting on an overhang of the Shelby Street Bridge in the early morning hours of May 27 when officers observed him with his legs dangling over the ledge. He was causing alarm to nearby citizens, who believed he might jump into the river. Officer Ian Pearce grabbed Harvell from behind and pulled him to safety. He was then taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

Shawn Hatch charged with assault of another man

25-year-old Shawn Hatch was booked this week on an outstanding citation charging him with an assault on Valentine’s Day. Tationia Harris jailed after beating up strangers who she thought were looking at her

27-year-old Tationia Harris was being dragged into a vehicle near 5th Ave South in downtown Nashville on May 27, causing nearby officers to take notice and respond to the car immediately. Her boyfriend, who was the driver of the vehicle, explained to police she was trying to start fights with random people on the street, and he was trying to get her safely home, despite her intoxicated state. Officers interviewed nearby citizens who reported that Harris randomly attacked them as they walked by. She was yelling, “What are you looking at?” to anyone who passed by before attempting to take them to the ground. She continued this in the presence of police. She told police she didn’t like the way people were looking at her so she was beating them up. It was immediately obvious why her boyfriend dragged her into the vehicle, and officers took her into custody. During her arrest, she punched an officer in the face and then went limp, demanding they carry her to the vehicle.
