Jeremy Mitchell punches through ex-girlfriend’s window; says she’s “going to die”

21-year-old Jeremy Mitchell told his ex-girlfriend she would die after breaking into her home. On July 24th, Chelsea Serritella called the police and stated someone was trying to break into her home. MNPD officers arrived at the residence on Harrington Ave and spoke to Chelsea, who said that her ex-boyfriend, the defendant, broke into her home. She said they broke up a week ago, and he had moved all his belongings out with him. But earlier on the 24th, she said that Jeremy texted her that he was “having people over” and “people sleeping in her bed.” She said that Jeremy was often paranoid due to his abuse of drugs, most notably Xanax.

Chelsea said that Jeremy began knocking on her side door and kicking it when she refused to open it. After that, she heard him yell, “I told you, you were going to die.” Then he broke the window to her bedroom by punching it and attempted to climb through. Chelsea said at that time, she went and hid in her bathroom. Her son, Anthony Serritella, heard him say that she was going to die and saw him drive away in a green SUV, which was the same one he had arrived in. Police noticed the broken window and muddy footprints on the side door.

Benjamin Gooding jailed after failing to move over for an emergency vehicle on roadway

32-year-old Benjamin Gooding failed to move out of the way of a traffic stop in his Jeep and told the officer, “I’m sorry.” On August 1st, an officer pulled over to help Tennessee State Trooper Ryan Declan conduct a traffic stop on I-65. The officer placed his vehicle directly behind the trooper’s vehicle to direct traffic. At this time, a dark-colored Jeep Wagoneer did not move over and failed to slow down while passing. The officer pulled the vehicle over, and Benjamin was the driver. Benjamin told the officer, “I’m sorry,” when the officer told him of the offense. He was placed into custody and transported to booking.

Jasmine Peacock jailed after fighting another woman in Hermitage parking lot

28-year-old Jasmine Peacock fought another woman in front of police officers and was jailed for disorderly conduct. MNPD officers spoke to Jasmine on August 3rd in a parking lot at Hermitage Manor and Autumn Woods Terrace. They saw Jasmine jump towards a female, grab her head, and punch her in the face several times. She was immediately placed into custody despite kicking and pulling away from the police. Jasmine was told to stop assaulting, threatening, cursing, and yelling at the female. Police determined she and the female were not in a domestic relationship.

IndyCar fan Kenneth Wasson charged in rape of child via Grindr in Nashville

39-year-old Kenneth Wasson met a 15-year-old girl on Grindr and talked her into sex by offering to explain the JROTC program. The juvenile girl spoke with the police and told them she met Kenneth on the Grindr dating app. Kenneth told her that he was in the Army and wanted to speak with her about the JROTC program, but he said it would be better to do so in person. She said that he arrived at her house on July 26th and explained the JROTC program, then he put his hand on her knee. He then rubbed up her leg until he pulled down her pants, used his mouth during a sex act, and then had sex with the victim. Once he finished, he pulled his pants up and left the residence. She said that he texted her two pictures of himself nude after the sexual encounter and sent a message saying, “We need to get together again; once wasn’t enough.”

On August 2nd, detectives were present when Kenneth texted the juvenile female admitting to having sex with her and when he said, “And maybe hit me up when you hit 18.” Wasson’s social media includes recent photos of him with underage children at IndyCar racing events, such as the one happening in Nashville this weekend.

Michael McConalogue too drunk to go to jail in downtown Nashville

32-year-old Michael McConalogue was found unresponsive on the street, and police had to be instructed to take him to the hospital before booking him for public intoxication. Michael was on the street by Broadway and 4th Ave when MNPD officers arrived. He was receiving medical attention from a security guard and could not respond in any way to any demand given by the police. He could not stand nor walk but was placed into cuffs, searched, and transported to booking. When they arrived at Davidson’s booking, the police officer was instructed to take Michael to the general hospital first due to his inability to walk. EMS was notified that he was being transported for a head injury. After Michael was released, he was placed back into booking.

Austin Ammen jailed after failing to wear seatbelt, failing to show up for court

32-year-old Austin Ammen was charged in March for not wearing a seat belt and was jailed in August. Police conducted a traffic stop on Austin Ammen’s automobile on March 9th on Gallatin Pike and cited him for not wearing a seat belt. He was set to appear in court for the traffic violation on May 26th. He was supposed to self-book on the citation but did not, so a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was placed into custody on August 3rd after failing to appear in court.

Kolleen Moore jailed after taking a swim in the Cumberland River in downtown Nashville

54-year-old Kolleen Moore took a dip in the Cumberland River and made the police call NFD to pull her out. MNPD arrived at River Front Park after concerned pedestrians thought Kolleen was drowning in the Cumberland River. There are signs that state, “No Swimming.” Police instructed her to exit the water, and she refused, yelling to them that she wanted to continue to swim. Police told her to come to them, and she began swimming away. NFD was called to retrieve her via a boat, and she was placed into custody for evading arrest and disorderly conduct.

DUI: Edward Anthony Lang charged after rear-ending police vehicle downtown

24-year-old Edward Anthony Lang blew two times over the legal limit after hitting Officer Diesel’s patrol vehicle. An Entertainment District Unit officer spoke to Officer Diesel, who said that a pickup truck hit his car in the early hours of Friday morning. The truck was parked behind him in downtown Nashville, and the vehicle’s driver was Edward. He looked intoxicated, admitted to drinking, performed poorly on sobriety tests, and blew a 0.209% BAC.

Tourist Michael Boyce drunkenly cat-calls women on Broadway in downtown Nashville

32-year-old Michael Boyce was cat-calling women on Broadway before his friends told the police they did not want to help him. Michael was seen on Broadway after MNPD officers were flagged down on August 3rd. The police were told he was intoxicated and made sexually explicit comments to women walking by him. They also saw him pretend to jump in front of vehicles passing by on 1st Ave. Michael was unsteady on his feet and smelled strongly of alcohol when police asked him about the comments he was making toward the women, per the report. He said that he did not remember the comments nor where he was staying. Michael called his friends when the police asked if he had any that could help him; the friend said that they did not wish to help.

Todd Gash charged in assault of ex-boyfriend and new woman living in their shared home

56-year-old Todd Gash got into a shoving match with his ex-boyfriend and told police he was a “big fat puss.” MNPD officers arrived at a residence on Upton Ln and spoke to Todd’s ex-boyfriend, the victim, Ben Worsham. Ben said he and Todd recently broke up but co-owned the house they currently live in. Ben’s friend, Tara Latham, moved in with them approximately three weeks ago, and that was the cause of Todd and Ben’s issues. Ben said that Todd arrived at the house, intoxicated, and began blaring his horn before he and Tara went outside to see what was happening. Todd then became angry and pushed Tara; Ben stepped in between them, then Todd and Ben got into a shoving match. During the incident, Ben said that Todd pushed him into a wrought iron fence, bruising his neck. Tara stated that she was uninjured by Todd shoving her. Police spoke to Todd, who said that Tara is “a bitch, a cunt with a capital C, and he fucking hates her” and that Ben “is a big fat puss.”
