Arrested at Nickelback— Ethan Blackburn “Far Away” from home in West Virginia

20-year-old Ethan Blackburn was reportedly extremely intoxicated and annoying cops while at a Nickelback concert at Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville. On August 1st, an MNPD officer was dispatched to Bridgestone Arena to help Officer Brazee, who was placing someone into custody and being thwarted by Ethan. Officer Brazee said that while they placed the person in Ethan’s party under arrest, Ethan became disruptive and interfered with the investigation. He was reported to have slurred speech, watery eyes, and smelling strongly of alcohol. Police placed him into custody for public intoxication.

Teddy Frazier charged with DUI; claims he was born in 2021

23-year-old Teddy Frazier, jailed for DUI, was not born yesterday but told police that he was born in 2021. Close to 3 am on August 2nd, MNPD officers noticed a Ford Fusion with the hazard lights displayed pulled over on Murfreesboro Pike. Police saw the driver immediately try to hide open containers when they turned their blue lights on. As the officers approached the car, they saw an empty wine bottle in the back passenger seat and Teddy in the front seat. After asking Teddy to exit the vehicle, he was unsteady on his feet, smelled of alcohol, and had slurred speech, per the report.

Once Teddy realized his wallet was missing, police asked him for his social security number, and he gave the wrong number of digits several times. The birthday Teddy gave them was August 19, 2021, yet police were able to find him in the state’s records. Teddy said, “You know I’m intoxicated,” several times, and that he does not drink often but finished a whole bottle of wine that night. He said that he started driving at 1:45 a.m. and that the last thing that he had to drink was “whatever was in those cans,” identified as a mixed drink cocktail and a beer. Standard field sobriety tests were conducted, and he showed several indications of intoxication, then later blew a 0.12% BAC on a breathalyzer.

West Virginian Matthew Blankenship vomits in bathroom at Nickelback show in Nashville; refuses to leave

23-year-old Matthew Blankenship was trespassed from Bridgestone Arena when he refused to leave the Nickelback concert on August 1. MNPD officers arrived at Bridgestone Arena to remove an individual refusing to obey security. Police spoke to security, who said Matthew was vomiting in the bathroom and refusing to leave. Matthew refused any medical help and admitted to police that he had seven or eight shots as well as a flask of Jim Beam.

Larogerrick Moore throws glass vase at mother of his child when asked to watch the infant

34-year-old Larogerrick Moore and his baby momma threw things at each other after she asked him to watch their infant. On July 26th, MNPD officers arrived at a residence on Cheyenne Blvd and spoke to Latoya McDuffie. She said that Larogerrick came home from work at 6 am, and she asked him to watch their 6-month-old child. An argument started, she said, and he threw a household item at her. She admitted to police that she threw something back, leading to each of them throwing several items at each other. At this time, Larogerrick threw a glass vase that hit Latoya in the arm. A juvenile eyewitness corroborated Latoya’s story as well as police noted a bruise on Latoya’s arm.

Jackson Smith jailed after ruckus at Barstool Sports bar in Nashville

28-year-old Jackson Smith caused a scene for police outside of Nashville’s new Barstool Sports Bar, landing him in jail for disorderly conduct. On July 29th, MNPD officers were arresting a person outside of Barstool Sports Bar when Jackson began yelling at the police to let the arrestee go. He then refused to leave after police instructed him to do so and then began smoking a hemp cigarette. Amidst Jackson yelling, police instructed him to leave another five times, but he still refused. He was then placed into custody for disorderly conduct and transported to booking.

Florida man Matthew Giello jailed after biting ex-boyfriend during fight

38-year-old Matthew Giello had a tussle with his ex-boyfriend outside of Planet Fitness when his ex threatened to hurt himself if Matthew left him. On July 29th, MNPD officers spoke to Matthew’s ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Rivas, who first said that Matthew kidnapped him from Florida. Later, Nicholas said he willingly got into Matthew’s car after being offered drugs. Police then spoke to Matthew, who said Nicholas is schizophrenic and there is a history of domestic violence between the two of them documented in Florida. He also said that the dispute started inside the locker room at Planet Fitness when Nicholas said that Matthew was going to leave him forever and threatened to harm himself. Matthew grabbed Nicholas’ phone and exited, where Nicholas followed and put Matthew into a chokehold. He said that he had to bite Nicholas’ hand to escape. Nicholas told police that Matthew put him in a chokehold when he attempted to get his phone back and that Matthew bit him. Police noted marks on Nicholas’ hand and no marks on Matthew, so he was deemed the primary aggressor and was placed into custody.

DUI: Oathe Letier Blanch refuses field sobriety tests because “boyfriend can’t attend”

34-year-old Oathe Blanch almost hit a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper on I-24 before admitting to drinking various alcohol prior to driving. In the early morning hours of July 31st, THP Trooper Healy reported that he saw a blue sedan swaying in and out of the lanes of traffic several times on I-440. He said the car almost struck his vehicle as they merged onto I-24, so he conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the blue sedan was Oathe, who reportedly smelled strongly of alcohol. Oathe then told Trooper Healy that he had drank an unknown amount of beer, rum and coke, mixed drinks, and Fireball before he drove. He then showed several indications of intoxication while performing some of the sobriety tests but said he could not finish because “his boyfriend could not attend.” After being placed into custody, Oathe refused to give a blood sample and was transported to booking.

Colorado man Richard Acosta tosses bottle off Jason Aldean’s rooftop

21-year-old Richard Acosta let a bottle and bad luck land him in jail for disorderly conduct while in Nashville. On July 29th, police were walking by Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar on Broadway when a bottle landed a few feet from them. They concluded that the bottle was thrown from Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar, so they pulled security footage. The footage showed a man, later identified as Richard Acosta from Boulder, CO, had thrown the bottle off of the roof. Later, security escorted Richard outside to the police. He was placed under arrest due to his intoxication and the likelihood the offense would continue, per the report.

Nashville local Brandon Shrewsbury strips outside strip club, ready to fight police

25-year-old Brandon Shrewsbury was found outside Hustler Strip Club, shirtless, telling cops that he was going to make them “earn it” and told one police officer he “wasn’t shit without it” regarding his gun and badge. MNPD officers arrive at The Hustler Club on Rep. John Lewis Way on July 29th regarding an assault. They spoke to the security for the club, who stated that Brandon had consumed too much alcohol and was assaulting guests. They also said that he accused the bartenders of stealing cash from him. After they removed him, he went outside and took his shirt off, attempted to fight the guests he was arguing with, threw his arms up, and yelled at security. Police found Brandon outside shirtless and advised him to leave several times, even offering him to call a taxi, Uber, or a friend. Brandon refused the police and began calling the security and police with multiple expletives. At one point, he told an officer to take his badge and gun off for he “wasn’t shit without it” and told officers that he would make them “earn it” while taking a fighting stance. They described Brandon as smelling strongly of alcohol, swaying, and fumbling with his phone. He was detained for being visibly drunk, disorderly, and hostile.

21-year-old Kaleb Tramel drunkenly argued with cops outside Kid Rock Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville. On July 29th, MNPD officers responded to Kid Rock’s Bar on Broadway in response to an outside fight. When they began their investigation, Kaleb was present and interrupted them. Police noted that Kaleb kept getting in their way and would continue to talk to them despite them telling him to leave. Kaleb was belligerent, unsteady on his feet, and had slurred speech via the report, so he was placed into custody for disorderly conduct.
