Emily Sanders slaps child in face multiple times

24-year-old Emily Sanders assaulted a minor at Maudina Avenue in October 2020. The victim’s mother spoke with the police and advised that her children were all playing outside when Sanders’s child pushed her young daughter off her scooter. Then, the victim confronted Sanders’s kid about pushing his sister, and they began to fight. Sanders’ child advised her that he and the victim had been wrestling, and then Sanders confronted the victim and slapped him twice in the face. The victim informed his mother, and she called the police and attempted to confront Sanders, but she fled the location. Sanders was booked on the summons of assault on December 4th.

Quineesha Brown assaults neighbor, son throws rocks at their home

25-year-old Quineesha Brown reportedly assaulted Laronica Hawkins at their apartment complex on October 11th. Hawkins advised officers that Brown’s son was throwing rocks at her window on October 10th, and when she went to notify Brown about it, she would not acknowledge her son’s behavior. Then, she told officers that the next day, Brown confronted her and started swinging at her, hitting her multiple times, causing her to fear for her physical safety. Brown was booked on a summons for assault on November 30th.

Nashville Rapper Blasian B3 assaults neighbor, son throws rocks at their home

Jermia Price jailed after stealing from Kroger

28-year-old Jermia Leshay Price tried to steal multiple items from Kroger on McGavock Pike on May 18th. Price was trying to exit with the items, and Joni Corinne attempted to stop her, so she punched her twice in the face before hurrying to her vehicle and fleeing the scene. Rickey Sanders witnessed the incident. Price was taken into custody for driving on a revoked license and assault on December 4th.

Christopher Hooper punches man multiple times during argument at Titans game

36-year-old Christopher Hooper, a Tennessee City Fire Department Firefighter, was involved in a scuffle with Hunter Brown Shirk at Titans Way, inside the stadium near gate 7 on December 3rd. Security from the stadium spoke with Shirk, who advised he and Hooper were arguing, so he went to get security, but Hooper followed and sucker-punched him in the nose, causing him to fall as he continued punching him in the face. The medical staff on-site treated Shirk and stated his nose might be broken. There was a witness who confirmed Shirk’s statements, and the stadium captured footage as well. Hooper was taken into custody for assault.

Ethan Kaiser fights multiple officers, runs from police on Broadway

21-year-old Ethan Jeffery Kaiser was seen fighting Alexander Jobie, an armed protective services employee, on the corner of 4th Street and Broadway in the early hours of December 3rd.  Jobie was attempting to detain Kaiser while fighting with Heath Williams, security at Whiskey Row, after being denied entry. Kaiser disregarded and crossed the security rope, so Williams pushed him back. Then, Kaiser punched Williams in the face and kicked him in the leg. When Jobie was trying to secure Kaiser, they ended up on the ground, and Kaiser punched him in the face and then rolled over on top of him. Kaiser then broke free and started running. Officers pursued Kaiser on foot as he was noncompliant with their commands to stop and began to resist once they were able to arrest him actively. Kaiser was charged with resisting arrest and two counts of assault.

Elijah Trent assaults grandmother during argument

26-year-old Elijah Trent was jailed Saturday afternoon for assaulting his grandmother on Big Oak Drive. He told officers that he and his grandmother, Rosalyn Sampson, had been arguing when he got upset and threw a water bottle at her. Officers observed water in the home. They spoke with Ms. Rosalyn, who corroborated the story and added that, based on what had happened, she was afraid her grandson would try to hurt her.

Dagnachew Bizuneh assaults woman during dispute in his car

32-year-old Dagnachew Bizuneh was involved in an altercation with Madison Lewis at Rep. John Lewis Way on October 29th. Lewis advised officers that Bizuneh hit her, leaving a visible mark on her arm. Bizuneh said he did not hit her but that he pushed her out of the car after she refused to get out. Officers cited both parties due to the conflicting stories, and Lewis said she would come to prosecute later. Bizuneh was taken into custody for assault on November 17th.

Zaky Fawzy ignores police, yells racial slurs at Lyft driver

47-year-old Zaky Fawzy, a taxicab driver, was on Almond Street in September when he got out of his vehicle and walked up to Latonya White’s, a Lyft driver, car and hit her window, startling her. White asked him why he had banged on her window, and he told her that she was blocking traffic. She continued to wait for her passenger after she asked Fawzy not to hit her window, then he reapproached the vehicle, threatening to call the police, and she responded,” Ok, I’ll be right here when they arrive.” The incident escalated when Fawzy and his passenger both told White to move out of the way. Fawzy then began to use racial slurs, causing her to fear for her safety, so she canceled her passenger and left the area before notifying officers. Fawzy was identified via photo lineup after being pulled over on Broadway for an unrelated traffic violation in the early hours of November 19th. Officers were conducting foot patrols when they observed Fawzy using his cell phone while driving. After noticing the officers, he tried to put his phone down, disregarding their signals to stop, and attempted to speed off but was at a red light. Fawzy became belligerent and started yelling when officers asked him to provide his license, registration, and proof of insurance. Officers advised him why he was being pulled over, but he insisted that he did nothing wrong and continued refusing to comply. Fawzy was taken into custody for failure to comply with an order and was additionally charged with assault regarding the incident with White.

Nancy King hits neighbor with phone multiple times during dispute

37-year-old Nancy King was taken into custody on November 13th for assaulting her neighbor, Stephanie Chavez, at Byrum Avenue. Chavez advised officers that King “hit her across the head multiple times with her phone.” Officers were told the argument started over a parking issue regarding a Nashville soccer game. Chavez had visible injuries on her face and was transported to Skyline Medical for treatment. King spoke with officers and told them Chavez was walking on her property, arguing with her over the parking issue, getting in her face and touching her, which escalated the altercation. Murihano Espoir, a witness, stated that King and Chavez were arguing before punches were thrown and that King was the initial instigator. Espoir provided a video showing them punching each other before King started to hit her in the head with her phone numerous times. Chavez wished to prosecute.
