Ariel Escobar rams ex-lover’s car in attempt to force a confession to his new girlfriend

Devon Starling called police to report his “ex-fling”, 22-year-old Ariel Escobar, was sitting in her car at his apartment at 2:30 a.m. as he arrived home with his girlfriend, Mia Kanu. The couple told Escobar she needed to leave the property, a request she refused. The couple attempted to drive around Escobar’s vehicle to leave the situation, but Escobar followed them as they pulled into a nearby parking lot. Escobar then blocked their vehicle from leaving and then drove into their vehicle with them still inside.

Unhappy with the initial damage, she backed up and rammed the vehicle a second time, still only causing minor damage. She then fled before police arrived but soon returned to the victim’s apartment – where she threw ketchup on the front door and vandalized it officers took her into custody. She stated she returned to force Mr. Starling to confess to his new girlfriend that he had been with Escobar sexually just the day before.

Ovalla Jobe, 65, charged with striking her brother with her car

Mose Jobe says his 65-year-old sister, Ovalla Jobe, drove toward him and used her car to strike him in his left leg. The incident reportedly happened in January when Ovalla was having her vehicle dropped off at her brother’s house. For a reason that wasn’t disclosed, she began to get into a verbal argument with one of her brothers, Mose. He says he was several yards away when she drove toward him in her vehicle and struck his left leg. She fled the scene, and Mose was transported to the hospital. A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was booked on that warrant this week.

Benjamin Clark strikes Police Lieutenant in back, cited for disorderly conduct

21-year-old Benjamin Clark of McMinnville is charged with disorderly conduct after he struck Metro Nashville Polie Lieutenant John Batty on the back and quickly walked away just before 1 a.m. near 4th & Broadway in downtown Nashville. As officers detained him, he continued to be disorderly in public and stated he had “four drinks” so far in the evening. Despite him continuing to be irate and ignore commands, Clark was issued a state citation for disorderly conduct and sent on his way. He was booked on that citation this week.

Amber Coe charging with slashing tires and shooting through front door of Ayonna Brown’s home

19-year-old Amber Coe is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism after reportedly slashing the tires of Ayonna Brown and then approaching her front door with a handgun. She then shot through the front door as the victim hid in a nearby closet after she observed her through the peephole. The bullet traveled through the front door and through two interior walls of the apartment.
